Guri and Gura are two wild mice, in fact twins born in 1963 and through the work of the sisters Rieko Nakagawa and Yuriko Yamawaki their stories have come to reach their 50th year and continue to be loved by adults and children of all ages. This exhibition features original illustrations from 7 of these stories, including the sisters’ debut picture book alongside the documentation of a discussion between Rieko Nakagawa and film director Hayao Miyazaki.
