Oui Katsushika
Oui Katsushika was the daughter of the master painter Hokusai. She produced work of great articulation and original form, but owing to the sparsity of her output and uncertainty she is only known to certain group of art fans. This exhibition attempts to challenge this condition and place a spotlight on this female painter who brilliantly captured the depths of light and shadow in the form of ukiyo-e.
