Bangkok, the capital of Thailand - known as the land of smiles. This city has in recent years undergone numerous demonstrations, coup d’etat and political uprisings but amongst all of this is a landscape which continues unchanged, a landscape subsumed in the confusion of rich and poor, light and dark, old and new. Here Chihiro Kobayashi presents this state as observed between 2013-2014.
