Shiho Fujiwara folds washi paper into layers and then submerses it in ink, then drying it and unfolding it she works into it further with the brush, combining the fluid tension of ink and substance of washi paper. Here she presents large scale productions hung from the ceiling in symbolic combination of material and form, as well as framed and newly maded works.
