Artists

Alain Laboile
Alain Laboile is a French photographer living in Bordeaux. He first began his career as a sculptor creating plaster portraits, and iron depictions of insects. In 2004 he accidentally got into photography. At first he photographed insects, then his interest turned to his six children, and cats. His works are not just snap shots but finely accomplished images, captured with an eye of warmth and originality. This is his second show in Japan featuring 24 of his B/W prints printed at Jock Sturges’ studio.
