This public project measures and records how the artist Yuko Mohri perceives and turns spaces into works of art. Mohri’s installations are known for their unique ways of integrating objects within a space, a process she has referred to as “ecological.” By recreating Mohri’s 2014 Yokohama Triennale work “I/O – Chamber for a Music Composer,” participants in this project at Asahi Art Square observe and quantify Mohri’s process of creating a work within a space by utilizing the space itself.
