Since his participation in the Tokyo Biennale in 1970 Tatsuo Kawaguchi has dealt with the issue of time in numerous forms and here takes the opportunity to reconsider its concepts through the physical structure of stairs, including new sculptural and 2D works amongst a selection of 30 pieces.
