The creator of Anpanman and writer of the song “Te no Hira wo Taiyo ni”, Takashi Yanase (1919-2013)not only worked in the field of picture books and animation bu also crossed areas of manga and poetry. This exhibition introduces his original illustrations of “The Friendly Lion”, his humorous manga work and his drawing work to accompany poetry collections.
