“Art Meets” is a series of annual exhibitions to uncover the work of mid-career artist’s work upon a deeper level. The second edition here introduces the work of Nobuaki Onishi and Masaru Aikawa. Nobuaki Onishi is known for his replications of natural and man-made phenomenon with resin. Masaru Aikawa on the other hand is known to reconstruct popular cds through his painting and own vocals, while also combining the digital and analogue through pin hole camera photography utilizing skype. Both artists share here in their exploration of mass production to achieve a new awareness towards existing values of material.
