Yoshinori Mizutani
Like “Tokyo Parrots” and “Colors,” Yoshinori Mizutani’s new photo collection “Yusurika” is also set in Tokyo. Mizutani, who found himself longing for nature in the city, became drawn to chironomidae flies seen near rivers, lakes, and other bodies of water. With a strobe light he photographed these winged insects as white dots of light in reflection, transforming the urban landscape into a natural wonderland.
