Kimiaki Ishizuka
Kimiaki Ishizuka is known mainly as a doll artist, but in fact started out producing nudes and portraits by creating and restoring oil prints, a classical photography technique. This exhibition introduces the rich shadows and textures of this artistic world with a series combining the subject of nudes with doll motifs. Also, Ishizuka resumed oil printing last year, and there will be a workshop at Tamura Photography, which produces Ishizuka’s printing paper.
