Kunio Okawara
Exhibiting the works of Kunio Okawara, Japan’s first mechanic designer responsible for the robots of beloved animations like “Yatterman,” “Mobile Suit Gundam,” and “Armored Trooper Votoms.” Color illustrations, model sheets, and other works spanning Okawara’s career of more than 40 decades, plus valuable documents, sketches, and new works get to the essence of Okawara’s design.
