Tsurutaro Kataoka
Over a career spanning two decades Tsurutaro Kataoka has worked across ceramics, glass and textile dyeing, but this year he was also recognized as a calligrapher with the receipt of the prestigious Teshima Yukei Award. In this exhibition he colors the beauty of the four seasons across a series of 3 meter works, his award winning work “Night” and many others featured amongst 100 pieces.
