The common story of between Ito and Hirano’s work is that of “memorial records”. ”Sex and Death” refer to our hidden impulse unconsciously held in our memory, in which we can not tell what is normal or abnormal. Two artists express this philosophy in monochrome and point towards the expansion of our imagination.
