Yuko Iwakiri has brought innovation to the concept of printmaking and since 2000 has explored principally its narrative potentials. Gaining inspiration from books, she places equal emphasis upon reading and creating her own work, with the weaving of words and imagination coming together to form unique landscapes with she crystallizes in her prints.
