This is the third solo exhibition by Usamaru Furuya, a manga artist known best for “Lychee Hikaru Club” and “Teiichi no kuni (Emperor’s Country).” 19 original works that showcase the delicate lines and colors characterizing Furuya’s dark style will be presented. Sketches for Furuta’s latest 3D manga “Plastic Girl” will also be on show, as will drawings for “Emperor’s Country” and “Joshi kosei ni korosaretai (I Want to be Killed by a High School Girl),” which were completed this year.

There will be original goods on sale, as well as a limited edition of “Garden” (East Press, 2000), which includes the shocking work “Emi-chan,” only available at Vanilla Gallery.
