Artists

Kuniyoshi Kaneko
Kuniyoshi Kaneko was born in 1936 in Saitama. While studying art at Nihon University he also came under the influence of theater artist Motohiro Nagasaka. From 1964 onwards he developed a self-taught discipline of oil painting and upon meeting the writer Tatsuhiko Shibusawa in the following year began illustration and book design for his novels. He made his debut as a fully-fledged artist with a solo show in 1967 and continued to pursue his artistic thirst across numerous genres including kimono design, photography and more.
