In his pursuit of the beauty of nature Hiroki Nakano depicts the scenes of waves as they lap and crash upon the seafront. Always sketching from life, determined to imbue himself in the environment of the sea, he absorbs with all his senses the wind, wet and rushing sound of the waves and then moves to depict these later as his own reality.
