Takayuki Nomura
Born in 1987 in Yamaguchi, Takayuki Nomura graduated from Oita University in 2010 and came to Tokyo to pursue his artistic practice whilst working part time. Reflecting his own difficulties and feeling of isolation he creates himself into a character set within the working world and creates paintings which reference the deformation of Japanese anime and video games. In his third solo exhibition he presents new paintings which embody a sense of the challenges being faced by youth in today’s contemporary society.
