Modern Art Paris>NY>>Tokyo>>>

Sezon Museum of Modern Art
Finished
Avant-garde art in the early 20th century sprouted in Europe with Paris at its center before crossing the Pacific Ocean to New York, where it escaped the fire of World War II. Meanwhile, a series of artists in post-war Japan emerged displaying the influence of the art movements in Europe and America while also demonstrating their own minds and expressions transcending mere copies of the West.

Tracing the evolution of Modern Art up to the present, this exhibition is constructed around the theme of the following three cities: Paris (once called the city of art), New York (where pop and avant-garde art were born), and Tokyo (which evolved in its own way under the influence of Paris and New York).
