Michal Cihlar is a leading Czech linoleum printmaker. His colorful works blending motifs of traditional arts and crafts with rhythmic elements of pop art have appeared on book covers, newspaper illustrations, posters, CD covers, and more. Veronika Richterova has developed her own unique method creating sculptures with recycled plastic bottles. Her works present a simultaneously aesthetic and thoughtful experience prompting us to consider issues of disposable waste in our society. She is currently constructing a Plastic Bottle Art Museum from her collection of 3500 bottles from 112 countries around the world. This is her first exhibition in Japan.
