Seiji Yoshimura
Seiji Yoshimura is known for his highly technical compositions painted with layers of mineral pigments. Using techniques acquired through the research and mastery of classic Japanese-style painting approaches, he achieves distinctive color expression that is said to have transformed the expressive language of representational painting and demonstrate the apex of this genre. This exhibition introduces around 35 new works, including those from the artist’s own private collection.
