Ib Spang Olsen is a Danish painter and illustrator of children’s books who received the international Hans Christian Andersen Medal in 1972. A selection of the works presented at his retrospective exhibition held in Copenhagen last year will be showcased here, including original drawings for the picture book “Boy in the Moon” and Hans Christian Andersen fairy tales and stories, as well as posters and animations.
