With a career spanning over five decades, having photographed the biggest icons in fashion, music and film, David Bailey is one of the world’s most distinguished photographers. Following Bailey’s critically acclaimed exhibition “Bailey’s Stardust” at London’s National Portrait Gallery, this event in Japan will showcase many unexpected gems from his collection of unseen photographs. Curated by Bailey’s youngest son Sascha Bailey, director of Quite Useless Ltd., the show will feature photographs of icons such as Mick Jagger, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Jack Nicholson and prolific Japanese photographer Nobuyoshi Araki. Bailey will also be presenting some never before seen images of late pop legend and icon David Bowie.
