This eleventh event in the Hiratsuka Museum of Art “Lobby Exhibition” series will introduce sculptures by Sachi Hasegawa (b. 1982), who completed her studies at the Graduate School of Musashino Art University in 2006. Her works, as the title suggests, refer to land forms and natural phenomena that have been observed by people in Japan since ancient times. By working with stone that has been around for thousands of years, Hasegawa looks to express the existence of the invisible world in a way that intersects with the present day.
