Yuki Watanabe
Born in 1981 in Shizuoka prefecture, Yuki Watanabe graduated from the Fine Art and Design department of Nihon University College of Art’s Graduate School of Art in 2006 and has continued to present works in various exhibitions and competitions since. In recent years, he has been focused on expressing weightlessness in visual terms. At the root of this theme is the moving experience that music can invoke, and and the artist’s desire to visualize such experiences. Human excitement and the energy that nature emits are not heavy, but rather closer to “weightlessness.”
