Tetsuya Noguchi “From Medieval with Love”

Pola Museum Annex
Finished

Artists

Tetsuya Noguchi
Instead of the usual magnificent and fierce warriors in helmet and armor, Tetsuya Noguchi often depicts his figures with chin resting in hands or staring off into space, seemingly enjoying themselves yet somewhat sad. Noguchi’s warrior figures have a pathos that cannot be shrugged off, along with an aura of humor. Over 50 works to be exhibited.
