The Chinese city of Jingdezhen has a 1700-year history of porcelain production. This porcelain or “china” in English has been prized by the world throughout the Song, Tang, Ming, and Chin dynasties. The development of Chinese porcelain was spurred on by the Chinese imperial court, especially during the Ming and Chin dynasties. This exhibition will showcase over 100 faithfully created replicas of the Ming and Chin era Jingdezhen porcelains.
