A close-up look at Paddington Bear, who is loved all over the world, through various rare documents that include original drawings and illustrations from children’s picture books. This exhibition commemorates Paddington creator Michael Bond, who passed away at 91 in June 2017, and also marks the 60th anniversary of the “Paddington” series. Original picture book and comic drawings from a diverse array of artists such as Peggy Fortnum, famous for her illustrations in the children’s books series, can be viewed along with versions of the series published around the world. A rare look at Mr. Bond’s working tools and interview videos give a glimpse into the wonderful world of Paddington.
