Riyoo Kim, a 2006 graduate of Osaka University of Arts Graduate School with an MA in Fine Arts is an exciting young artist who has shown his work in solo and group shows including the 2011 Yokohama Triennale. His ceramic sculptures blend futuristic imagery inspired by sci-fi, anime, and street culture with a primitive strength reminiscent of Bronze Age and Jomon pottery. This exhibition presents his new works including sculptures, tea bowls, flower vases, and more.
