This exhibition shows the works of print artist and sculptor Chimei Hamada, who stood foremost among intaglio print artists after WW II in Japan and turned 100 in 2017. Hamada is highly respected in Japan and abroad for works that have their starting point in the hardships of World War II, yet express society, humanity, and himself in a humorous light.
