The famed Fukawa kiln (Fukawa Hagi) has been in operation for nearly 4 centuries, while the Tahara line has a 350-year history of producing Hagi tea ware for the Mouri family, once feudal lords of the Hagi area. This exhibition presents the work of thirteenth generation Tahara ceramicist Tohbe Tahara. See how he incorporates his own ideas into the Hagi ware tradition.
