“Walk and Listen” is a silent walk through the city. The aim is to concentrate on listening to surrounding sounds. This project is born from the artist’s concerns about sound and how we relate to it in every aspect of our life. Most people live with our ears practically closed. Through the free exploration of the surrounding sound-scapes, the perception regarding sound will exponentially grow. In this way people will be able to extend the meaning of the word music, activating a process opposite to that of composition. It Is not about saying things through sound but rather about listening to what sound has to say. This project was developed for the first time in May 2015 in Bremen, Germany, where several walks were coordinated during one week.
