Artists

Usamaru Furuya
Manga artist Usamaru Furuya has won fans in Japan and abroad for volumes ranging from his debut “Palepoli” to masterworks such as “Suicide Club.” This exhibition features 188 sketches created for the show. At times boldly experimenting and at other times demonstrating radically clean lines that capture the subtleties of the heart, Furuya’s drawing abilities are on full display here. The narratives his stories evoke complex feelings of nostalgia while his characters constantly reveal new sides to themselves. Artworks and merchandise will be available for purchase.
