Keiji Ito, Masaya Nakahara
Keiji Ito works as an art director and illustrator in the advertising, magazine and music industry where he has produced covers for artists such as Tei Towa, SDP, Orange Pekoe etc. Masaya Nakahara is know globally as a living legend of the Japanese noice music scene as Violent Onsen Geisha (a.k.a Hair Stylistics) . In this exhibition, they will be showing a new series of collaborative collaged and painted pieces with the theme of “compost,” recycling fragments of vintage magazines and portraits from pop star photo books. Keiji and Masaya have also collaborated to produce 20 seven-inch clear vinyl records with two new musical compositions.
