Chiba City Museum of Art has built its collection of some 10,000 works around the three following themes: works by artists with ties to the Boso Peninsula (especially Chiba City), Nihonga paintings and prints from the modern through contemporary eras, and contemporary art from 1945 and after. This exhibition features highlights from this richly varied collection.
