Taro Okamoto, Ippei Okamoto, Kanoko Okamoto
Taro Okamoto’s father and mother, Ippei and Kanoko, was a comic book artist and novelist, respectively. Close friend novelist Yasunari Kawabata referred to the Okamoto’s as a sacred family. This exhibition introduces the work of Ippei and Kanoko Okamoto, along with items and photographs from their daily lives.
