Cerith Wyn Evans Exhibition

Pola Museum of Art
Finished

Artists

Cerith Wyn Evans
Wyn Evans began his career producing experimental film works in the late ‘70s, moving to include sculpture, installation, and photography as he expanded his range of expression in the ‘90s. Language, perception, and temporal awareness provide the conceptual foundation for Wyn Evans’ diverse practice. His works escort us into a total sensory experience in which the artist intervenes and transforms the space with subtle, elegant, and poetic gestures. In addition to a display in the Atrium Gallery, the exhibition will include a large-scale neon work in the museum’s entrance hall. Conceived as a dynamic dialogue with the facility’s architectural spaces, the exhibition marks the artist’s first solo show in a Japanese museum.
