There are various explanations for the origins of Japanese manga. This exhibition looks at the satirical artworks of the Edo period that arose from printing culture as the starting point for what are recognized in contemporary Japan as manga-esque expressions.

Closed	Monday Open on a public holiday Monday but closed on the following day. Closed during the New Year holidays.
Notice	Closed on December 29 to January 1 and January 12. Open on January 11.

Adults ¥1200; University and High School Students, Seniors 65 & Over ¥900; Junior High School Students, Persons with Disability Certificates + 1 Companion ¥400; Elementary School Students and Under free.
