Tomoko Hojo
Presenting new works by Tomoko Hojo, an artist taking part in the 2021 artist-in-residency program “invisible connections.” Through research into the world’s oldest string instruments dating back some 3,000 years and places with resonances and reverberations of sounds made by nature, Hojo attempts to recreate the sounds of instruments outside of contemporary music history from a contemporary perspective.
