Makoto Ishiwata
Makoto Ishiwata creates his “core” series from discarded skateboard materials at his studio in Zushi. Using the board and “core” parts, he reconstructs the skateboards into modern stools, clocks, and other art objects that blend into our lifestyles. At his his first show in the Shonan area in a while, he presents objects demonstrating more advanced cutting and polishing techniques. Orders will be accepted.
