This exhibition, showcasing new paintings, will be the third solo exhibition of works by Koutaro Inoue at the gallery. Inoue (b.1982) graduated from Osaka College of Art in 2005, and started to exhibit his works in Tokyo from 2007. Recent exhibitions include solo exhibitions at flotsam books (Tokyo, 2021), Koki Arts (Tokyo, 2018), and Gallery Den mym (Kyoto, 2017), a two person show at YIRI ARTS (Kaohsiung, 2016), and group exhibitions at Koki Arts (Tokyo, 2019) and 2kw gallery (Shiga, 2018). Inoue’s work was included in the Shell Art Award Exhibition (2017) and the Sompo Japan Art Award Exhibition FACE 2014 (2014).
