Artists

Mika Ninagawa
Mika Ninagawa has been active in a variety of fields beyond the realm of photography, including film, design, and fashion. This exhibition explores the essence of the artist’s photography under the theme of “fiction and reality. This exhibition brings together work from a variety of directions, including “Eternal Flower” and “Cherry Blossom,” which feature vividly colored flowers, “Portraits of the Time,” which depicts celebrities and athletes, and “Beautiful Days,” which marks a new breakthrough for the artist. This will be a unique opportunity to experience the world of Mika Ninagawa’s work, which continues to vividly demonstrate the cutting edge of the times without limiting the genre of expression. As the culmination of a ten-venue nationwide tour that began in 2018, the Tokyo venue will feature new photographs, videos, and installations, further expanding the scale of the exhibition.
