Anju Shimoie’s paintings are inspired by the retro-pop manga of artists like Osamu Tezuka, Shigeru Sugiura, Fujiko Fujio, and Hideo Azuma. Shimoie is receiving international attention, having had a sellout show at the 2021 Tokyo Art Fair. Ginza Tsutaya Books presents new works.
