The second exhibition in this series introducing up-and-coming artists with ties to Chiba Prefecture features 100%Orange, a unit of illustrators made up of Chiba-born Kenji Oikawa and Mayuko Takeuchi. Their work is both cute and nostalgia-inducing, with distinctive lines and lively colors. 100%Orange started out making postcards on a silkscreen printing machine at home, which is likely how they developed relationships between lines and color found only in prints. They currently work in pencil, pen, watercolors, acrylics, and other media, as well as creating printed materials and products for everyday life. This exhibition spotlights their stationery, products, and original works. Enjoy the diversity of their works.
