The museum strives to be both a regional museum and a contemporary museum where the people of Chiba can enjoy and learn about art, while also supporting artists and artistic pursuits in general. Under the ethos of “see, tell, create” the museum is working hard to collect and exhibit works by artists with a connection to Chiba. The museum also holds talks, workshops, and other events along with exhibitions.
