A new space, ” KINUTANI Art Place Hiroo” opened in Hiroo, offering an immense experience of 70 years of his creative journey. Koji Kinutani（1943–2025）was a recipient of the Order of Culture and his works are renowned for their vivid color and vital energy. Standing in front of his paintings and their vivid color overwhelms us. Exposing ourselves to moving images with our five senses lets us feel the world of creativity. Before you know it, you will feel the urge to create. From art appreciation to digital visual experiences and hands-on artistic creation —this is a space not only to see, but to feel and to express. For both adults and children, each in their own colors. A place where the joy of expression becomes freer, and more alive.

Kawaguchi City Museum of Art aims to be a "park-like museum" where anyone—children and adults, art connoisseurs and those who visit on a whim—can easily come and enjoy themselves. We aim to pass on the value of artists and works associated with Kawaguchi, a city of craftsmanship, to future generations, while also supporting the challenges of artists who continue to create in this city today. Furthermore, through exhibitions, workshops, lectures, and performances, we offer opportunities to encounter expressions and new perspectives that are not typically found in everyday life. We aspire to be a warm and welcoming place where we can gather lots of excitement, anticipation, and thrills, and nurture the future together with all of you.

The Museum of Imaginary Narrative Arts (MINA) is a new museum project based on the concept of "imaginary narratives."
Centered around four contemporary art exhibitions per year, the museum will work with artists and creators to create the "museum itself," through sales and collection of artworks, learning programs and workshops by exhibiting artists, the development of a cafe and museum shop, and the publication of a quarterly magazine.
Under the direction of the contemporary art unit L PACK., the museum blurs the boundaries between exhibitions and dining, creating a space where people and artworks can share the same time. It proposes a new type of museum through mechanisms that allow people to freely move between the everyday and the extraordinary.
What does the museum mean to us? This is where the story of a new and enriching daily life with art begins.
