Museum of Aeronautical Sciences

The Aviation Science Museum is a comprehensive aviation thought dissemination facility. Located in Sky Park Shibayama, Shibayama-cho, Sammu-gun, Chiba Prefecture, adjacent to Narita Airport. Facing Narita Airport, the main gateway to Japan's skies. Many people visit our museum not only from Japan but also from all over the world. Dynamic views overlooking Narita Airport, exhibits where you can learn while looking at real engines and cockpits, experience operating a large model of a Boeing 747, experience in a full-scale simulator that has been refurbished from pilot training, and information on Narita Airport including the SDGs. In addition to introductions, it is an experiential museum full of attractions, including an observation restaurant where you can enjoy meals inspired by in-flight meals, and an outdoor exhibition area where you can see approximately 20 real aircraft up close. Both adults and children are sure to enjoy our museum's many exhibits to their heart's content.
