Calm & Punk Gallery
Finished

Artists

Kenichi Miyazawa
Miyazawa has been working as part of the artistic unit “Magma” and has been creating his own works such as three-dimensional works, paintings, ceramics, etc. In recent years, he has been showing his works at SFT Gallery in the museum store ’Souvenir from Tokyo’ in the National Art Center, Tokyo, including his work “On the Day a Gorilla Gave Me a Banana”.

This will be Miyazawa’s second solo exhibition after his first, “Choco Mint Condition” was held in 2019. In his last solo exhibition, Miyazawa presented three-dimensional works reconstructed from junk he collected from various places, based on his father’s roots as a carpentry hobbyist who liked to make his own daily necessities.
