Shinobu Shishikura has been exploring the current form of ritual experience in the form of computer games, computer graphics, and installations. As a CRS Navigator, Shishikura will be hosting a release event for the Cyber Reincarnation Seminar at art space ASK?-P.
Cyber Reincarnation Seminar is a computer game that allows people to fly away from this painful real world to a peaceful electronic world. By injecting our Cu.data (data that signals our consciousness and unconsciousness) into the virtual body of the game using special hardware, and by turning the Cu.data into external storage, Cyber Reincarnation is accomplished.
